How Effective is your Learning Environment at Supporting Your Curriculum?
This unique Roadshow event has been designed to support school leaders and teachers working in schools with mixed-aged classes. We will examine the similarities and differences between these different ages, whilst reflecting on the opportunities mixed-aged classes offer for us to provide experiences and teaching that truly matches where the child is on their journey of learning.
During the day we will look at effective methods of developing planning and provision for a wide range of ages, abilities, and interests; built upon a philosophy and vision that views children together, regardless of age – as one class, and one learning community.

Evaluative Session for Headteachers
How good is the quality of learning in your mixed-aged classes? How confident do you feel in understanding and articulating this? Senior Leaders will be supported to evaluate their provision, ensuring that it is connected meaningfully to the whole school curriculum, and identify next steps for strategic development.

Development Session for Leaders & Teachers
During this practical session we will explore meaningful ways to make your learning environment a successful cornerstone of your curriculum. We will look at key areas of Continuous Provision, and think about how to plan, resource and support these areas to maximise curriculum links across different age groups, and ways to strengthen the role of the adult.

You will see examples of expertly planned Continuous Provision and be able to explore how your resources can be organised and used to support high-quality learning.
