In this session we will be exploring the core principles of executive function and self-regulation; reflecting on how each is interconnected and how they relate to the Characteristics of Effective Learning. Drawing on the latest early years research, we will be considering approaches to teaching executive function and self-regulation skills in the early years – providing you with practical strategies to deepen your understanding and strengthen practice.
