This introductory bitesize workshop is for all EYFS practitioners who are looking to refresh their knowledge to ensure effective practice and it takes a closer look at the importance of the role of the adult in the EYFS.
High quality interactions are central to effective early years practice, ensuring all children make progress, and in order for interactions to be successful, we need skilled adults.
This workshop will demonstrate how engaging in effective conversations during child-initiated activities helps children absorb new vocabulary, expand their knowledge and extend their thinking. Delegates will come away with ways to successfully improve the quality of their adult/child interactions; improving outcomes across the curriculum for all children.
