STEM subjects are an essential part of the world around us, but it can be hard for young children to recognise this. This fantastic STEM Occupations Role Play Collection includes role play costumes and props that will enable children to identify how aspects of science, technology, engineering and maths are present in everyday life and the work that many people do. Through play, they can be a scientist, a vet, a doctor or an astronaut – save lives or cure diseases; anything is possible.
Our STEM Occupations Role Play Collection includes six role play costumes including a paramedic, nurse, doctor, vet, scientist and astronaut with accommodating accessories such as stethoscopes, masks, safety glasses and medical equipment. When paired with our Set of Occupation Books KS1 or Set of Occupation Books EYFS, this collection will promote close observation, encourage questioning and promote further research.
Our STEM Occupations Role Play Collection includes the following:
- Astronaut – 5-7yrs – this all in one spacesuit comes complete with matching silver space helmet will most definitely be a hit with children as they rocket to the moon!
- Nurse Top & Trousers – 5-7yrs – this modern nurse set comes complete with white mask.
- Scientist Coat – white scientist coat complete with a set of 2 safety glasses as children create experiments in their lab.
- Paramedic Jacket 5-7yrs – This realistic costume includes 2 x Velcro-fastened jacket with bright Day-Glo panels, reflective silver tape and paramedic lettering on the back. This jacket will inspire children’s imagination as part of an emergency medical team, treating an accident victim or saving a life, enabling them to feel confident as they play.
- Doctors Coat – 5-7yrs – comes complete with white mask and stethoscope
- Vets Tunic & Mask – 5-7yrs – comes complete with matching trousers and stethoscope
- Set of Syringes – 1 x 5ml, 1 x 10ml and 1 x 20ml syringes to enhance a nurse, vet or doctors outfit.
- Paramedic Box –5L Utility Box – 36 x 14 x 15 cm – Removable five compartment trays, clip lock lid and carry handle. Extend children’s role play with this paramedic box which can be used to store their slings, bandages or any other role play accessories.
