Description
A key aspect of children’s ability to describe and categorise is the exploration of colour, shape and pattern. Children will be irresistibly drawn to this Set of Large Colourful Blocks - designed to provoke investigations into the properties of materials, colour, light and reflection whilst at the same time, reinforcing children’s understanding of shape and pattern.
This Set of Large Colourful Blocks feature an assortment of larger-scale rubber wood play blocks with coloured acrylic inserts and reflective mirrored inserts. Children can use these sensory blocks for building, comparing, shape recognition, colour mixing and are ideal to use with our interactive light board for further explorations.
These play blocks support physical development through construction and sensory play; understanding the world through observation and colour; and maths through shape and space.
