Following on from our highly successful conference ‘Embracing the Power of Creativity’, we are delighted to offer you this inspirational twilight which aims to unlock your creative potential and help you explore how art can power active learning in early years and KS1.
Facilitated by Emma Bairstow, an experienced primary art consultant – this highly practical event will enable you to explore a wide variety of drawing techniques from experimental to observational, and understand how to begin teaching these techniques in the Early Years and KS1.
By having a go and getting creative with a variety of drawing materials, you will discover how to develop a child’s fine motor and observational skills which are the essential building blocks to their creative development.
From mark-making and drawing as a starting point, you will explore how these experiences provide the scaffold for developing confident young learners, able to adapt and progress to a variety of mediums.
