Description

During this twilight we will explore how, as children are immersed in opportunities to explore and experiment, their desire to express, represent and record in a variety of ways emerges. The link between play and mark making will be explored with practical examples of how to harness children’s active interest in the world around them to support, motivate and inspire their desire to draw and write.

By attending this twilight you and your team will be able to reflect on the role of the adult in supporting children’s early writing skills, gaining inspirational ideas to help you develop mark making opportunities indoors and out in ways that ensure that, as children develop the skills of writing, they apply these within their play with greater complexity.
